  • I am attempting to log in via Okta FastPass on my mobile device. After I select Login with Okta FastPass, I receive a blank page. What should I do? Term
    Description: This can occur for several reasons: Okta FastPass login is not supported in private or incognito browsing sessions. Make sure you are logging in on a standard browser tab. If you select Cancel when prompted to open the Okta Verify app, login will not complete successfully. Clear your browser’s cache and try logging in again. The Okta Verify app is not installed on the mobile device. Follow the steps to enroll Okta FastPass. If this issue persists, contact nesd@nesd-mail.onbmc.mil or 1-833-NESDNOW (1-833-637-3669).
  • I am attempting to log in via Okta FastPass on my mobile device. After accepting the Okta FastPass prompt, I am redirected back to the login selection page. What should I do? Term
    Description: This can occur for several reasons: Your mobile device is not configured to require biometric authentication on device unlock. Some browsers (ex.   • Why is my browser asking for permission to look for and connect to devices on my local network when I log in via Okta FastPass? Term
    Description: The MyNavy HR login portal requires permission to communicate with the Okta Verify application on your mobile device to complete CAC-free login via Okta FastPass. When prompted, you must select Allow to enable this connection. If you have selected Block, you must update your browser permissions before you can log in.
  • How do I update my browser permissions to allow local network access on my mobile device? Term
    Description: To log in via Okta FastPass on some browsers (ex. Chrome, Edge, Samsung) on Android devices, the browser must permit local network access. The specific steps to check or update the permission varies by browser and mobile device: Locate the Local network access setting in your browser Ensure it is set to Allow Note: If this permission is set to Block, your browser cannot connect to the Okta Verify app, and you will not be able to log in via Okta FastPass on your mobile device.

    Description: No. Navy security standards and policies prohibit password-based authentication methods. You can log in using one of the approved methods: CAC on any device CAC-free on mobile devices via Okta FastPass.

    Description: While connected to the NMCI network, you must be authenticated to the Menlo proxy with your Flank Speed credentials to access the MyNavy HR login page.   • Why do I get a "Login Unsuccessful" page when trying to log in to MyNavy Portal? Term
    Description: There are a few possibilities: Using a bookmark to navigate directly to the login page will result in an error. The login request expired and is no longer valid, requiring you to initiate a new login request. An unexpected system error occurred.
