The Housing Early Assistance Tool (HEAT) helps you find Navy-wide housing information before you move. Service members, DoD sponsored civilians, and their families are able to start the housing process online at one or more Navy installations before or after they receive their Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.
HOMES.mil is a joint military website designed to connect service members and their Families with community housing rental listings located near U.S. military bases.

Naval Services FamilyLine

Navy Housing Program
The Navy Housing Program provides housing related services in support of the Navy's mission and readiness. Navy Housing Service Centers (HSCs), located on most installations, are responsible for assisting customers in finding different types of housing to include privatized, government-owned, government-leased, community, or rental partnership program housing.
The Rental Partnership Program is an agreement between the Navy Housing Services Center and community-based housing landlords to provide Service members with suitable and affordable off-base housing and aid in defraying some of the costs incurred by relocation.
Request A Sponsor
When your Sailor receives orders to transfer to a new duty station, they can request a command sponsor to help your family through their transition to a new command. If your Sailor requests a sponsor, they should be contacted within 10 days of receiving their orders. If this does not occur, the Sponsor Program Coordinator contact information can be found within your Sailor's orders.
Spouse Licensure/Business Cost Reimbursement
As part of the ongoing Navy Family Framework effort to expand and improve the experience for Navy spouses and families, Sailors may be reimbursed up to $2,000 (combined total) for the state licensure/certification costs and business costs of a spouse arising from relocation to another state or jurisdiction due to a permanent change of station (PCS) move.
